Compiled
Compiled
One program. Many agendas.
Compiled is a tactical turn-based board game inspired by assembly language and the Motorola 68000. Program a shared CPU, manipulate its registers, and complete your secret objective before your opponents complete theirs.
Each player controls a Program Counter moving around a shared 20-slot cyclic program. On your turn, place an instruction, advance your Program Counter, and execute the code you land on.
Instructions such as MOVE, ADD, XCHG, AND, BRA, and ROL modify four shared 4-bit registers. Every instruction becomes part of the program, so the code you write can help you, disrupt an opponent, or accidentally give someone exactly what they need to win.
Your objective is hidden. Manipulate the shared machine, disguise what you're trying to accomplish, and figure out what your opponents are doing before it's too late.
Features
- Assembly-inspired tactical gameplay built around a simulated 4-bit CPU
- 20-slot cyclic program where players place and overwrite instructions
- Four shared registers using signed 4-bit arithmetic from -8 to +7
- 31 instruction cards covering arithmetic, logic, bitwise operations, shifts, rotations, and branching
- Secret objectives that give every player their own win condition
- Singleplayer against up to three computer opponents
- Pass & Play multiplayer for 2–4 players on one device
- Multiple board sizes and AI difficulty levels
- Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced instruction sets that gradually increase the complexity
- 20 interactive tutorial lessons teaching both the game and the computer science behind it
- Built-in instruction dictionary explaining every operation
- View register values as signed decimal, unsigned decimal, hexadecimal, or binary
- Offline-first gameplay with no ads
No Assembly Experience Required
You don't need to know assembly language to play Compiled. Start with the Basic instruction set and interactive tutorials, then work your way up to branching, bitwise operations, shifts, rotations, and more advanced strategies.
Along the way, you'll naturally learn concepts such as registers, program counters, two's complement arithmetic, branching, and low-level instruction execution.
Every player shares the same machine.
Every instruction changes the program.
Everyone has their own agenda.
What will you compile?
